Our goal is to encourage you to prepare foods at home you wouldn’t normally think to. We hope that taking the mystery out of food will show that, with only a little effort, you can create fancy food yourself in the comfort of your own home.
Mazor Cooking Courses is run by David Mazor with the purpose of teaching the skills needed to prepare dishes at home. The courses are designed to use those tools one is likely to find in their own kitchens, with simple and easy to find ingredients.
David is a Belgian Foodie with a great eye for the detail and a love for fine dining. He learned to bake at London Road and cut his teeth on the coal-fired ovens. Since then he’s baked lots of bread as well as help to perfect breads like the Bakehouse Focaccia and Ciabatta. David believes strongly in the joys of home cooking and aims to combat the trend towards poor eating by reinvigorating your desire to prepare food at home.
Gareth has baked for ten years in the coal fired ovens at the London Road Bakehouse in Staffordshire. Supplying Cafes, restaurants, and the general public with hand-made artisan breads, Gareth is also a regular face at many local farmers markets. He’s appeared on several TV baking shows, judged local baking contests and taught hundreds of home-bakers the craft over the years. He now runs The Bakehouse Cafe Bar at Trentham Gardens, Staffordshire’s No. 1 tourist attraction.
